Bathukamma : National Photography competition

Bathukamma Photo', an all-India photography contest on the floral festival, began on Friday. The competition, organised by Telangana Tourism on the theme ‘Woman and Flowers’, will conclude on October 31. According to the guidelines, participants should hold the copyright of the images. Applicants may submit their images by logging on to the website www.bathukammaphoto.com or send the digital files with the name and telephone number to email ID bathukammaphoto@gmail.com.Alternatively, printouts can be sent to the address #507, 3-2-64/120, Manikonda, Hyderabad – 89, with the name and contact number of the sender.

 The last date for submission of entries is October 31. Digital submissions should be in jpg format with a minimum of 1,000 pixels and a maximum of 3,000 pixels. The file size should not exceed 4 MB at 72 dpi resolution. The competition will be judged by a group of eminent photographers from Telangana State. The first prize carries a cash award of Rs 1.5 lakh, second prize Rs 75,000, third prize Rs 50,000 and consolation prize of Rs 25,000.
