
The State government entered into two major MoUs with a China-based company on Friday in the presence of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao at a meeting held in the city. A MoU was entered with Sani Group of Companies to build a dry port in the State and another one was also entered into with the same group to manufacture pre-fabricated concrete slabs used in construction of houses. Industries Department secretary Jayesh Ranjan signed the MoU on behalf of the State government for dry port with Sani Heavy Industries chairman Wengen and vice-president of Port Leon Young Gang Chunhong.
The MoU on pre-fabricated material was signed by Housing Department secretary D Kishore with Sani International Housing general manager Haijun Deng. The meeting between the government and the Chinese industrialists was held at Falaknuma Palace on Friday evening. Speaking at the programme, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao expressed his happiness at Chinese group coming to the State. He said that he was shown lot of affection during his tour by Chinese industrialists.
