For the past few months, there has been no dearth of rumours about Chiranjeevi’s 150th film. In a recent interview to TV9, Megastar Chiranjeevi finally opened up about the current status of his 150th film and clarified his stance on several rumours that were doing the rounds. Addressing concerns about the delay, Chiranjeevi said, “When I decided to make a comeback into films, I was pretty sure that I wanted to take up a film which had a strong script and began listening to several stories.
At one point of time, while I was in talks with Puri Jagannadh, I liked the first half of the story that he had narrated; however, I felt that the second half needed some more work before we finalise it. In the meantime, he began shooting his other film (Loafer with Varun Tej) and there has been no progress on that script so far. I’m also in talks with couple of others who have been narrating me stories, but I haven’t okayed anything so far. The entire team will sit together and take a decision about how to proceed further.
