The S&P BSE Sensex lost its upward streak on the ninth day. The benchmark BSE sensex slipped 74.70 points to 27,729.67 or 0.27 per cent.Nifty too snapped by 20.70 points to 8,360.85 or 0.25 per cent on Wednesday. Meanwhile, rupee closed marginally higher at 63.60 against previous close of 63.61. Rupee opened at 63.66 against American dollar and touched a high of 63.58 and a low of 63.71 in the intra-day trade.
