There are many localities in the historic city that have interesting backgrounds as abodes of great rulers of the Qutb Shahi and Asaf Jahi dynasties. Each of these localities has a unique story behind it. Some of these localities have completed more than a century; yet, they are still going strong by accommodating the present generation and also upholding the glorious past. These localities stand out as testimony to the kindness and generosity of rulers who made sure that all people living in their kingdom had all basic menities.
