Japan’s Fukuoka Prize to AR Rahman

New Delhi: Oscar award winner, great Indian Musician AR Rahman received Japan’s famous award Fukuoka Prize-2016. Today He received this award. This award if conferred for his contriution towards creating and Traditional Fusion Music of South Asian. This award is established by Fukuoka And Yokatopia Foundation.

 It honors to outstanding work of individuals or organizations in preserving or creating Culture of Asia. Previously Indian Historian Guha Ramachandra awarded with Fukuoka Prize for the year 2015.
