MH government to help set up Gymnasiums

Maharashtra State power minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule Today said the Government will help set up 40 gymnasiums in Each District to promote the Indian-style wrestling. Rs 7 lakh will be provided for setting up the gym and another Rs 7 lakh for equipment, he said.Bawankule was speaking after inaugurating the 59th edition of 'Maharashtra Kesari' wrestling championship at Chitnis Park stadium in Mahal area here this evening.The prestigious tournament is returning to Nagpur after 28 years. The winner will be awarded the Maharashtra Kesari title, a silver mace and Rs one lakh.The title-bout will be played on Sunday evening.
