Samsung has introduces a hard drive with the largest in the world. It Is A hard drive is a 2.5-inch solid state drive (SSD), which can store 15.36TB of data. The new drive, named as PM1633a, sports a server pack with 48 drives for a storage capacity of 768TB, says a Golem.de report. Though the cost has not been revealed yet, Ars Technica touts that it will cost minimum $7,000. The hard drive appears to be specially created for enterprise purposes. However, it has come at a ripe time when photographers [prefer shooting gigapixel pictures which need the kind of exposure it provides.
