 Second hike in 15 days: Petrol price goes up by Rs 3.13
Petrol and diesel prices were hiked on Friday for the second time, after the last upward revision on April 30. Petrol price was hiked by Rs 3.13 per litre, while diesel price was increased by Rs 2.71 per litre. The revised prices will be effective from Friday midnight. The revision on April 30 saw a hike of Rs 3.96 per litre for petrol and Rs 2.37 a litre for diesel.The global crude oil prices are reviewed by oil companies every fortnight and fuel prices are revised accordingly.
