Car used by crusader Anna Hazare sold at Rs 9.11 lakh

Social activist Anna Hazare’s car was on Sunday sold for Rs 9.11 lakhs in a public auction. The eight year old car is an SUV [Sports Utility Vehicle] and one of Hazare’s close associate bought the Mahindra Scorpio who earlier offered to buy Toyota Innova for Hazare.About 14 people participated in the auction and Pravin alias Atul Lokhande from Hazare’s native district, Ahmednagar was the lucky one to get the car. Anna Hazare’s aides say that the vehicle is a witness of ‘historic events.
