Amitabh Bachchan and his son Abhishek Bachchan have jointly invested $2,50,000 (about Rs
1.6 crore, contributing half of it each) in Meridian TechPte, a Singapore- based company that runs free cloud storage, micro-payment and e-distribution platform Ziddu.com. Meridian Tech's founder Venkata Srinivas Meenavalli said Bachhans are likely to invest more into the company soon. Bachchans Ziddu.com generates 1.3 billion page views as of now with over 533 million unique visitors every month from more than 225 countries. Venkata Srinivas expressed his happiness and said that Amitabh Bachchan has reposed trust and confidence in Ziddu.com.
