Andhra Pradesh chief minister suggest a public debate before initiating the new State Excise Policy which is set to be implemented from July 1. However, AP CM wants the loopholes in the new policy to be addressed and good practices from neighbouring states should be considered.Andhra Pradesh state garnered revenue of Rs 11,488 crore during the financial year 2014-15 and projected revenue of Rs 12,258 crore for the year 2015-16.Mr Naidu also asked officials to adopt hologram and bar coding system in order to check the illegal trade.
