Finance minister Eetala Rajender presented the budget for the year 2015-2016 to the Telangana state Legislature today. While presenting the budget Eetala says like this. I condider it a great privilage that the honour of presenting the first full year budget has befullen me. The budget highlights
* Total budget : Rs. One Lakh 15 thousand 689 crore
* Plan expenditure :  Rs. 52 thousand 383 crore
* Plan expenditure :  Rs. 63 thousand 306 crore
* Financial surplus : Rs. 531 crore
* Fiscal deficit : Rs .16,969 million
* Economic growth of 5.3 per cent in 2014-15

* Water Grid Rs. 4000 crore
* Mission kakatiya Rs. 2083 crore
* Drinking water in the twin cities of Rs. 1000 crore
* ministry of forest & environment Rs. 325 crore
* Irrigation Rs. 8500 crore
* The power sector is Rs. 7400 crore
* Department of Electrical Rs. 7400 crore
* Medical and health services Rs. 4932 crore
* Department of Minor Irrigation Rs. 200 crore

* For Beedi workers Rs. 188 crore
* The Beedi workers per month. 1000 allowance provided
