New Delhi : The Delhi drubbing seems to have hit the BJP and the Narendra Modi government hard. In course correction mode, Modi on Friday ‘summoned’ Delhi Police Commissioner BS Bassi and pulled him up for the repeated attacks and vandalising of churches in the national capital. The PM also called up the union home secretary LC Goyal and gave a stern message on the same issue.

The BJP top brass is scheduled to go into a huddle with the RSS big wigs on Sunday to review the reasons which led to the near wipe out of the party in the all-important Delhi elections. The Delhi unit of the BJP held a preliminary round of discussion on Friday with state chief Satish Upadhyaya. Sources said the decision to bring in a rank outsider Kiran Bedi as the CM candidate was the stated as the principle factor behind the shocking results.
